Marco Siciliano is an artist based in Milan, Italy. He initiated the project Personne. In French this word means ‘nobody’ or ‘a person’ with the article. The etymology of the word comes from the ancient Greek word for ‘mask’.
Siciliano tells stories about bodies and their connections, distances, pain and love. Even if it is not present, the body is forced onto paper and fabric by way of wire or pink gum. Yet it is still in a breath, in an orgy of forms, represented in intimate spots or in unknown landscapes with mannequins on a stage that crystallize into a kaleidoscopic of shapes while we silently watch their slow disappearance.
